About Me
My name is Rich Bin
I am a high school student of the class of 2026 and hope to major in business and economics in college. Over the years, I have worked on various projects in and out of school, some though my school clubs and internships. I am currently interning at UBS bank as a quantatative analyst where I used Excel to create stock analysis and valuation models. I also interned at Harvard Geospatial Lab as a researcher on geographical correlations of fast food and public health using GIS systems. Outside of school, I love travelling and enjoy hobbies mainly in the field of arts, including playing the piano and the violin, composing music, as well as painting. I also enjoy digital 3D modelling and printing, along with playing tennis and snowboarding. I hope with this project, you may find it useful for building your extracurriculars and participating in activities to pursue your dreams.
My Story
As a high school student, I spent the past few years trying to make the most out of school. During freshman year, I remember being overwhelmed just by thinking of my future during the college application process. As I began looking for advice from others, such as counselors and graduated students, I found many of them to be contradicting. Throughout all these years, I have came to realize how many opportunities I missed. Where I am now is a lot different from the vision of myself developed in freshman year of what I wanted to become today. By creating this platform, I am hoping that future students won't experience the same struggles as I did. I hope that my personal experience can truly help students succeed in the future in navigating through the pressures they have in all the competition in high school.
